Job summary

Nuffield Health is hiring a Lifeguard (Bank, part-time) in Worcester. You’ll help keep our pool, spa, sauna and steam room safe while delivering excellent member care. The role requires an NPLQ or equivalent and ongoing training records.

You’ll work as part of a friendly team, stay vigilant at all times, and contribute to a welcoming, safe environment with strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• NPLQ or equivalent qualification.
• Provide training records where applicable.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Guard pool and wet-side areas to ensure member safety.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, professional environment for members.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Respond quickly to incidents and enforce Pool Safety Guidelines.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Like us, you’re passionate about great customer care – and you’re a real team player.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
