Job summary

Nuffield Health Bridgend is seeking a Lifeguard (Bank) to ensure safety across our pool, spa, and wet facilities. This part-time role requires NPLQ or equivalent and a commitment to high standards of customer care and teamwork.

You will help keep members safe, be alert at all times, and contribute to a welcoming, professional environment with adherence to pool safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Passion for great customer care and being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard, you will:
