Job summary

Nuffield Health Bridgend is seeking a part-time Lifeguard to join our bank staffing pool. You’ll monitor pool areas, promote safety, and deliver friendly customer care to members and visitors.

You must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and keep training records up to date. The role is paid at £12.84 per hour with flexible ad-hoc shifts. Join a welcoming team and help create a safe, healthy environment.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe in pool, spa, sauna and steam room.

• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Pay attention to safety and respond to incidents promptly.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed.

Lifeguard Bridgend FWC | Fitness | Bank | Part time £12.84 per hour

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. At Nuffield Health, we pride ourselves on creating a safe and welcoming environment for all our members and visitors. From our swimming pool to our steam room, we’re looking for someone to help keep customers safe and happy.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Like us, you’re passionate about great customer care – and you’re a real team player.

Responsibilities

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
