Job summary

Nuffield Health Brentwood is seeking a Lifeguard for Stockley Park. The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with a pro rata salary of £27,248. You will help keep our pool area safe, welcoming members and visitors while maintaining high standards of safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Able to provide ongoing training records and stay up to date with safety guidelines.
• Experience in delivering high quality customer care in a gym or leisure environment.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents promptly.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
