Job summary

Nuffield Health in Ilford is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep our pool, spa, sauna and steam room safe and welcoming. This 16-hour-per-week role focuses on customer care, teamwork and prompt response to incidents.

You’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and maintain training records. We offer training, development opportunities and a supportive workplace environment at our gym in Ilford.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent with training records.
• Excellent customer care, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Passionate about safety and teamwork in a gym environment.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy around the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents promptly.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you'll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you're able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
