Job summary

Nuffield Health Devonshire FWC is hiring a part-time Lifeguard to help keep members safe and create a welcoming poolside environment. The role requires an NPLQ or equivalent and involves maintaining training records, while delivering excellent customer care as part of a friendly team.

We offer a permanent contract with a pro rata salary for 16 hours per week, along with benefits that support your health, wellbeing and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Provide ongoing training records as required.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Safely supervise pool, spa, sauna and steam room users.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment for members.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Respond quickly to incidents and enforce Pool Safety Guidelines.
• Contribute to member safety and wellbeing.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
