Job summary

Nuffield Health Glasgow Central is looking for a Lifeguard to help keep our pool, spa, sauna and steam room safe and welcoming. This part‑time role is 8 hours per week with a pro rata salary up to £26,707.20, and requires a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.

You’ll be a motivated team player with a positive attitude, able to maintain high safety standards, support members, and respond quickly to incidents.

Qualifications

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Provide ongoing training records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool, spa, sauna and steam room to ensure safety.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Respond to incidents promptly and enforce safety guidelines.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
