Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Lifeguard for Norwich FWC. This part-time role (28 hours per week) offers a pro rata salary and a chance to contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for gym members.

You will hold an NPLQ (or equivalent) and maintain training records. The role emphasizes customer care, teamwork, and a proactive approach to safety across wet-side facilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and provide training records.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Passionate about great customer care and works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool, spa, sauna and steam room to ensure safety.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment for members.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Respond to incidents promptly and enforce Pool Safety Guidelines.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
