Job summary

Nuffield Health is hiring a Lifeguard at Kingston FWC. The role is part time with a pro-rata salary of £27,248 and a 24-hour week. You will safeguard swimmers, maintain a friendly atmosphere and support members using the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.

Ideal candidates hold an NPLQ or equivalent, bring high energy and a passion for excellent customer care, and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Requires National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Provide ongoing training records as required.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool, spa, sauna and steam room to keep members safe.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, professional environment for members.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Respond promptly to incidents and enforce safety guidelines.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
