Job summary

Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Lifeguard for a part-time, 10-hour-per-week role at our Tunbridge Wells fitness facility. The successful candidate will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and maintain ongoing training records. The role focuses on safety, customer care and a friendly environment for members.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool and wet side facilities to ensure safety.
• Be attentive and respond promptly to incidents.
• Create a friendly, calm and professional environment for members.
• Welcome and support members using facilities.
• Enforce Pool Safety Guidelines at all times.
• Assist with safe and clean operation of pool area.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
