Job summary

Nuffield Health Careers in East Kilbride invites a Lifeguard to join our gym team on a permanent, part-time basis. You will ensure pool safety, customer care, and a friendly, professional environment while maintaining Pool Safety Guidelines.

The role requires an NPLQ or equivalent and ongoing training records; 8 hours per week; pro rata salary around £26,707.20 per year. Benefits include free gym membership, health assessments, retail discounts and pension options.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room

• Be attentive and alert at all times

• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment

• Welcome and support members when using the facilities

• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away

• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
