Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Lifeguard at Cottingley Manor Fitness to help keep our members safe and happy in our wet-side facilities, including the pool, spa, sauna and steam room. This is an ad-hoc bank role offering £12.84 per hour and flexible hours to suit the business needs and your availability.

You will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and provide ongoing training records. Bring bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

• Demonstrates enthusiasm, positivity and willingness to learn.
• Strong commitment to great customer care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool area and ensure safety of members in wet-side facilities (pool, spa, sauna, steam room).
• Be attentive and alert at all times and respond to incidents promptly.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment for members.

Cottingley Manor FWC| Fitness| Bank | Ad-hoc £12.84 per hour Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. As a Lifeguard at our gym, you'll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you're able to provide ongoing training records. • Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
