Job summary

Nuffield Health Bromley Fitness and Wellbeing Gym is hiring a part-time Lifeguard to keep members safe in our pool and wet-side facilities. You will work 24 hours per week with variable weekend shifts and be part of a friendly, supportive team.

You’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and maintain training records, delivering excellent customer care every day. You’ll be joining a welcoming environment focused on member safety and wellbeing, with opportunities for

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool and wet-side facilities to ensure swimmer safety.
• Be attentive and respond promptly to incidents.
• Maintain a friendly, professional environment for members.
• Welcome and assist members using the facilities.
• Enforce Pool Safety Guidelines at all times.
• Provide first aid and emergency response when needed.

About the role

A Lifeguard at our gym holds a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and is able to provide ongoing training records. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Like us, you're passionate about great customer care - and you're a real team player.

Your responsibilities

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
