Job summary

Nuffield Health Group in Cwmbran is seeking a part-time lifeguard to work on the bank pool team. The role pays £12.84 per hour and involves supporting the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room, keeping members safe and happy.

You should hold an NPLQ or equivalent and be prepared to provide training records. A positive, team-spirited attitude and strong customer care are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard at our gym

you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Like us, you’re passionate about great customer care – and you’re a real team player.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
