Job summary

Everpool in Wirral is seeking an experienced Licensed Conveyancer / Conveyancing Solicitor to lead a team in a growing practice. The role combines senior responsibility with autonomy over a substantial residential caseload from instruction through to completion and post-completion.

You’ll have the opportunity to progress to Partner with potential equity in the firm, joining an established 75-year-old practice that values client care and growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing matters: purchases, sales, remortgages, equity release.
• Oversee matters from instruction to completion and post-completion.
• Identify searches, conduct title checks, and handle enquiries.
• Review contracts, mortgage reports, and completion statements.
• Prepare freehold and leasehold contracts.
• Maintain relationships with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors.
• Support growth of the conveyancing department through referrals.
• Ensure high standards of client care.
• Comply with CQS, lender requirements and AML regulations.
• Support wider firm compliance.
• Lead and develop the conveyancing team.

Want to join an established law firm where you’ll have real autonomy, lead a team and have the opportunity to progress to Partner?
We’re working with a respected Wirral-based firm of solicitors that has been established for 75 years and is now looking for an experienced Licensed Conveyancer / Conveyancing Solicitor to play an important role in its next stage of growth.
You’ll be taking on asenior role within the conveyancing department, managing a team of around 10 people, while still having the freedom and autonomy to manage your own work.
And looking ahead, there is agenuine opportunity to progress to Partner, with potential equity in the business.

What will you be doing?
Alongside managing and supporting the conveyancing team, you’ll take responsibility for a varied caseload from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
Your role will include:

• Managing residential conveyancing matters including purchases, sales, remortgages and equity release
• Managing matters from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion
• Identifying relevant searches, carrying out title checks and enquiries and reporting on these
• Checking purchase and sale contract packs, mortgage reports and completion statements
• Preparing freehold and leasehold contracts
• Maintaining and developing relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other sources of work
• Helping to grow the conveyancing department through recommendations, repeat business and new sources of work
• Maintaining excellent standards of client care
• Ensuring compliance with CQS protocols, lender requirements, SRA principles and Money Laundering Regulations
• Supporting the firm’s wider compliance responsibilities
• Leading, supporting and developing the wider conveyancing team
