Aspire Recruitment is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner for a Wirral-based role. You will manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion, handling sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity while maintaining client-focused service.

You will work on site, with opportunities to handle commercial matters as appropriate, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality documentation throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload.
• Strong experience with sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Knowledge of UK property law, Land Registry procedures, lender requirements and regulatory compliance with conveyancing.
• Experience using legal case management systems and drafting documents.

Conveyancing Fee Earner
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Wirral based Birkenhead to Wallasey vicinity
Working Arrangement: On-site
Salary: £40,000-£60,000 per annum - solely dependent on experience and qualified status

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join an established legal team based in the Wirral area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional who is confident managing their own caseload and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service to clients.

You will be responsible for managing residential conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to completion, with the opportunity to handle commercial property matters where appropriate. Your caseload will include sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity, working closely with clients and other parties to ensure transactions progress efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Handle a range of transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Manage commercial conveyancing matters where appropriate and in line with your experience.
• Draft, review and progress contracts and associated legal documentation.
• Undertake title checks, property searches and other relevant conveyancing enquiries.
• Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors and other parties throughout the conveyancing process.
• Keep clients regularly informed of progress, explaining legal processes and requirements in a clear and approachable manner.
• Prepare completion statements and coordinate exchange and completion arrangements.
• Ensure all matters are progressed in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal firm procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records and supporting documentation.
• Use legal case management systems effectively to monitor caseloads, deadlines and transaction progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the conveyancing team, providing support where required.
• Contribute towards best practice and the continuous improvement of processes within the department.
• Consistently uphold high standards of professionalism, compliance and client care.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload.
• Strong experience dealing with sales and purchases, with knowledge of remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Commercial conveyancing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A strong understanding of UK property law, Land Registry procedures, lender requirements and regulatory compliance within conveyancing.
• Experience using legal case management systems and document drafting software.
• Good working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to explain legal terminology and processes clearly and confidently to clients.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• The ability to prioritise workloads, manage multiple files and work effectively towards deadlines.
• A professional, client-focused approach and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a wider legal team.
