Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking a licensed conveyancer/conveyancing solicitor for a senior, Wirral-based role. You will manage a team of around 10 and handle a diverse residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, with autonomy and a path to partnership and potential equity.

You’ll lead, support and develop the conveyancing team, maintain client relationships, and ensure high standards of compliance while contributing to the department’s growth and the firm’s success.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential conveyancing
• Ability to manage own caseload
• Excellent knowledge of the conveyancing process
• Strong communication and client-care skills
• Ambition to grow with the firm toward partnership

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a conveyancing team of ~10 in Wirral
• Manage a varied caseload from instruction to completion and post-completion
• Identify searches, title checks, enquiries, and report outcomes
• Prepare contracts for freehold and leasehold properties
• Maintain client relationships with agents, lenders and other sources of work
• Contribute to growth of the conveyancing department and company reputation

Whatwillyoubedoing?

Alongsidemanagingandsupportingtheconveyancingteam,you’lltakeresponsibilityforavariedcaseloadfrominstructionthroughtocompletionandpost-completion.

Yourrolewillinclude:

• Managingresidentialconveyancingmattersincluding purchases,sales,remortgagesandequityrelease
• Managingmattersfrominitialinstructionthroughtocompletionandpost-completion
• Identifyingrelevantsearches,carryingouttitlechecksandenquiriesandreportingonthese
• Checkingpurchaseandsalecontractpacks,mortgagereportsandcompletionstatements
• Preparingfreeholdandleaseholdcontracts
• Maintaininganddevelopingrelationshipswithclients,estateagents,lenders,solicitorsandothersourcesofwork
• Helpingtogrowtheconveyancingdepartmentthrough recommendations,repeatbusinessandnewsourcesofwork
