Stevenage Library is seeking an Assistant Customer Service Supervisor to support the Library Manager, supervise the frontline team, and help deliver a broad range of library services. The role includes staff timetabling, training and development, monthly statistics, Health & Safety, and acting as senior on duty.

• Excellent communication and admin skills with a focus on customer care.
• Demonstrable experience leading a team in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Library Manager to supervise the Stevenage Library team, including staff timetabling, training and development.
• Support with monthly statistics and financial data, Health & Safety, and act as senior on duty when required.
• Compile, maintain and provide effective returns for monthly statistical information.
• Engage with frontline services and outreach activities to promote library resources.
• Deliver the day-to-day running of the library and contribute to the programme of activities.
