Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking an experienced LGV Driver to join our Bristol-based team on a permanent basis. You will deliver products nationwide on our BOC contract, moving compressed gas cylinders between BOC sites and customer locations using a counterbalance FLT with full training provided.

We offer premium pay with overtime, guaranteed hours, paid training and a strong safety-focused culture. The role requires a valid LGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, tachograph cards and 3+ years of Class 1

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence and Driver CPC required.
• Tachograph cards and knowledge of Driver Transport Legislation.
• Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers across the country on the BOC contract.
• Move compressed gas cylinders between BOC Site and customer site.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles; full training provided.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based out of BOC Bristol.

Shift Pattern: - Monday to Friday Days, Start & finish times will vary.

This is a PERMANENT position.

You will be responsible for delivering products to our customers across the country on our BOC contract. This role involves moving compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and driving a counterbalance FLT to load and unload your vehicle, full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits

• £16.33 per hour
• Plus, Overtime between £24.49 to £32.66 per hour

Essential Requirements

• A safety minded focus.
• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points
• A tachograph cards.
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
• Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience

Desirable Requirements

• Counterbalance FLT experience, albeit full training will be delivered irrespectively.
• A valid ADR licence all classes including package goods other than 1 & 7 is desirable.
