Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking an experienced LGV Driver to join the team at BOC Brinsworth. You will deliver products nationwide on the BOC contract, loading and unloading with a counterbalance FLT, with full training provided.

The role is permanent, Monday to Friday days, with start times typically between 06:00 and 09:00. Excellent pay and guaranteed hours accompany a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• A safety minded approach to driving and loading/unloading.
• At least 3 years Class 1 experience.
• Strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Tachograph cards held.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers nationwide under the BOC contract.
• Move compressed gas cylinders between the BOC site and load/unload using a counterbalance FLT.
• Shift pattern is Monday to Friday days with varying start times.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based out of BOC Brinsworth.

Shift Pattern: - Monday to Friday Days, typical start times between 06:00 and 09:00.

Start & finish times will vary.

This is a PERMANENT position.

You will be responsible for delivering products to our customers across the country on our BOC contract. This role involves moving compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and driving a counterbalance FLT to load and unload your vehicle, full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits

• £15.81 per hour

• Plus, Overtime between £23.72 to £31.62 per hour

Essential Requirements:

• A safety minded focus.

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points

• A tachograph cards.

• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)

• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation

• Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience

Desirable Requirements:

• Counterbalance FLT experience, albeit full training will be delivered irrespectively.

• A valid ADR licence all classes including package goods other than 1 & 7 is desirable.
