Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking an experienced LGV Driver to join the team based out of BOC Brinsworth. You will deliver products across the country on the BOC contract, loading/unloading with a counterbalance FLT, with full training provided.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday days, starts between 06:00 and 09:00, with permanent employment on offer. Competitive pay and overtime are available.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points.
• A tachograph card and Driver CPC.
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation.
• Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers across the country on the BOC contract.
• Move compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and load/unload your vehicle using a counterbalance FLT.
• Shift pattern: Monday to Friday days; start times between 06:00 and 09:00.
• Full training will be provided.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based out of BOC Brinsworth.

Shift Pattern: - Monday to Friday Days, typical start times between 06:00 and 09:00.

Start & finish times will vary.

This is a PERMANENT position.

You will be responsible for delivering products to our customers across the country on our BOC contract. This role involves moving compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and driving a counterbalance FLT to load and unload your vehicle, full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits

• £15.81 per hour
• Plus, Overtime between £23.72 to £31.62 per hour

Essential Requirements:

• A safety minded focus.
• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points
• A tachograph cards.
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
• Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience

Desirable Requirements:

• Counterbalance FLT experience, albeit full training will be delivered irrespectively.
• A valid ADR licence all classes including package goods other than 1 & 7 is desirable.
