Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based out of BOC Worsley. The role involves delivering products nationwide on the BOC contract, loading and unloading with a counterbalance FLT, and working nights Monday to Friday with regular weekend overtime. Training provided and safety is a priority.

You will operate 40 hours per week plus overtime; this is a permanent position with premium pay and long-term stability in a leading chemical transporter.

Qualifications

• A safety minded focus.
• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points.
• A tachograph cards.
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation.
• Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers across the country on the BOC contract.
• Load and unload using a counterbalance FLT as required.
• Maintain compliance with Driver Transport Legislation and tachograph rules.
• Work Monday to Friday nights with regular weekend overtime.
• Ensure safe driving and premium service for customers.

Job description

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based out of BOC Worsley.

Shift Pattern: - Monday to Friday NIGHTS – Start times between 5pm and 9pm – with regular weekend working and overtime.

40 hours per week plus overtime as and when required.

This is a PERMANENT position.

You will be responsible for delivering products to our customers across the country on our BOC contract. This role involves moving compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and driving a counterbalance FLT to load and unload your vehicle, full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits

• £16.34 per hour

• Plus, Overtime between £24.51 to £32.67 per hour

Essential Requirements:

• A safety minded focus.

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points

• A tachograph cards.

• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)

• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation

• Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience

Desirable Requirements:

• Counterbalance FLT experience, albeit full training will be delivered irrespectively.

• A valid ADR licence all classes including package goods other than 1 & 7 is desirable, however full training can be provided.
