Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking experienced LGV Class 1 drivers to join the waste operations team at the Rotherham site, working Monday to Friday days. The role offers competitive hourly rates, guaranteed hours, and paid CPC training with full PPE provided.

Applicants should hold an LGV Class 1 licence (max 6 points), Driver CPC, tachograph card, and ADR license (all classes except 1 & 7); vacuum tanker experience is preferred and training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 1 licence (max 6 points).
• Driver CPC and tachograph card required.
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 experience.
• ADR license all classes other than 1 & 7.
• Vacuum tanker experience preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV Class 1 vehicles for waste operations at the Rotherham site.
• Comply with Driver Transport Legislation and safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and report any issues.
• Support a guaranteed shift pattern with weekend and bank holiday coverage if required.

We’re now seeking experienced LGV (Class 1 ADR) Drivers to join our waste operations team at our Rotherham site, working Monday to Friday days.

Pay & Benefits

• £14.80 per hour (basic rate)
• Guaranteed 45 hours
• Overtime (Mon - Fri): £22.20/hr after 8 hours per shift
• Saturday overtime: £29.60/hr after 5 hours worked
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £29.60/hr for all hours worked
• Fully paid breaks
• All CPC training hours, courses, accreditations & driver medicals paid
• Full PPE provided

What We’re Looking For

• LGV Class 1 licence (max 6 points)
• Driver CPC and valid tachograph card
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 experience
• A Valid ADR license all classes other than 1&7
• Vacuum tanker experience preferred (training provided if required)
• Strong knowledge of Driver Transport Legislation
• Safety-focused mindset
