Job summary

Muller is hiring for Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers at the Northampton Depot. You will safely move goods from our distribution depots to supermarkets with loading and unloading. The role offers full-time hours, no overnights, and a modern fleet, with a strong emphasis on safety and professional service.

Shift patterns include 5 days over 7 with early start times. Competitive pay (£17.30–£28.42/hour) and potential earnings up to £46,000 per year are provided, along with benefits and company pension

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) is required.
• Current CPC and digital driving card are required.
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence.
• Comfort with the physical nature of the role and a proactive attitude.
• Self-motivated and reliable with a professional approach.

Responsibilities

Department: Logistics & Supply Chain & Transport

Location: Northampton, ENG, GB, NN9 6NY

We are recruiting for Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers at our Northampton Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

As a Distribution Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently product from our distribution depots to supermarketswithin the network (including loading and reloading).

This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working for a prestigious logistics company, driving a modern and well maintained fleet of vehicles and who are looking for flexibility in their life, we offer full time work schedules, and no overnights stays.

• Contract– Full Time / Permanent
• Location - Northampton Depot, Warth Park Way, Raunds, Northamptonshire, NN9 6NY
• Shift Pattern – 5 days over 7
• Tuesday - Saturday 3am start
• Friday – Tuesday 3am start
• Rate of Pay– £17.30per hour - £28.42 per hour

Potential on target earning from £46,000 per annum (dependent on shift pattern)

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.
• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
