Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is recruiting for Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers at our Bristol Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business. As a Distribution Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently deliver from our depots to supermarkets within the network, including loading and reloading.

This full-time role offers a daytime/flexible shift pattern with no overnights stays, competitive pay, a monthly retention bonus and the chance to work with a modern,

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) and CPC/digital driving card required.
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence.
• Able to handle physical aspects of the role and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Timely deliveries and accurate documentation to supermarkets within the network.
• Safety-first driving and compliance with transport regulations.
• Complete driver and vehicle checks and report issues promptly.
• Plan routes considering road works and traffic for efficient journeys.
• Maintain professionalism as the interface between business and customers.

Job description

We are recruiting for Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers at our Bristol Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

As a Distribution Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently product from our distribution depots to supermarkets within the network (including loading and reloading).

• Contract- Full Time / Permanent
• Location - Bristol
• Shift Pattern - 5 days over 7

(PM - Thursday -Monday or Friday- Tuesday 3PM start time)

(AM - Friday - Tuesday - start time1AM start time)

• Rate of Pay- £17.30per hour - £28.42 per hour
• Overtime rate; £19.46

£300 retention bonus paid monthly from 1st October 2025.

Potential on target earning from £46,000 per annum (dependent on shift pattern)

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Class 1 DriverKey Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self - motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
