Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution is seeking a Class 1 LGV Driver for Bridgwater Depot. You will transport milk across the network, with loading/reloading duties and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The role offers full-time permanent employment, varied shift patterns (including weekends), and a competitive hourly rate with weekly pay and a planned transition to monthly pay. Must hold LGV Cat C+E, CPC, and a current digital tachograph card.

Qualifications

• Requires HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E).
• Current CPC and digital driving card.
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence.
• Excellent safety and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport milk from farms to sites within the network, including loading and reloading.
• Ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation.
• Perform driver and vehicle checks and maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with teams and serve as the interface with customers.
• Work across various shift patterns including weekends.

We are recruitingfor Class 1 LGV C+E Tanker Driversat our Bridgwater Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

• Contract– Full Time / Permanent
• Location - Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF)
• Shift Pattern– Various Shift Patterns available (all-inclusive of weekends)

Day vacancies - 10 hour shifts

• Thursday to Monday
• Friday - Monday

Night Vacancies – 10 hour shifts

• Thursday - Monday
• Rate of Pay –From £17.30 per hour - £28.42 per hourdependent on shift pattern.

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• As an Inbound Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to different sites within the network (including loading and reloading), ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.
• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
