Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution is recruiting Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers to join our Bridgwater Depot transport team. This full-time, permanent role offers secure employment with a leading logistics business, modern fleet, and the possibility to be home every day with no overnight stays.

You will deliver products to supermarket locations across our network, perform compliance checks, and plan routes while maintaining high safety standards and professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• Ability to work independently and safely.

Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution is recruiting Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers to join our professional transport team at our Bridgwater Depot.

Pay Rates

Days

• Monday to Friday: £16.63 per hour
• Saturday: £18.71 per hour
• Sunday: £24.95 per hour

Nights

• Monday to Friday: £19.00 per hour
• Saturday: £21.38 per hour
• Sunday: £28.51 per hour

Overtime

• £18.71 per hour

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting products safely and efficiently from our distribution centres to supermarket locations across our network. This includes loading and reloading vehicles where required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering products safely, professionally and on time
• Completing all vehicle and driver compliance checks accurately
• Adhering to road transport legislation and company safety procedures
• Planning routes effectively, taking account of restrictions, roadworks and traffic conditions
• Maintaining excellent standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
• Acting as a positive ambassador for Müller when interacting with customers and the public

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Current Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 minor points on your licence (no CD, DD, DR or IN endorsements)
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance
• The ability to manage the physical aspects of the role
• A positive, reliable and professional attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
