Job summary

Müller Milk and Ingredients Distribution is seeking Class 1 LGV C+E drivers for the Leeds Depot in Normanton. You will transport milk across the network, handling loading/reloading, and maintain timeliness and compliance with safety standards.

The role offers full-time permanent work with a 5 over 7 shift pattern, day and night rates, weekly pay, and a competitive benefits package. Applicants should have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) required.
• Current CPC and digital driving card required.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• Comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• Reliable and self-motivated team player.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport milk from farms to sites within the network, including loading and reloading.
• Ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation.
• Adhere to safety and transportation regulations.

We are recruitingfor Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers at our LeedsDepot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working for a prestigious logistics company, driving a modern and well maintained fleet of vehicles and who are looking for flexibility in their life, we offer full time work schedules, and no overnights stays.

• Contract:Full Time / Permanent
• Shift Pattern :5 over 7
• Rate of Pay : Nights

Day;

• Monday - Friday - £17.30 per hour
• Saturday - £19.46 per hour
• Sunday - £25.95 per hour

Nights;

• Monday - Friday - £19.77 per hour
• Saturday - £21.92 per hour
• Sunday - £28.42 per hour

Overtime;

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• As an Inbound Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to different sites within the network (including loading and reloading), ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.
• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
