Job summary

Müller Milk and Ingredients Distribution is recruiting for Class 1 LGV C+E Tanker Drivers at Amesbury. Inbound Driver responsibilities include transporting milk from farms to sites within the network, with loading and reloading, using a modern fleet.

This is a full-time, permanent role with no overnight stays and flexible patterns (5 over 7 or 4 on 4 off). A competitive rate and annual leave are included, along with company pension and life assurance benefits.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) required.
• Current CPC and digital driving card essential.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence (no CDs, DDs, DRs or INs).
• Comfortable with the physical nature of the role.

• Ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety and transportation regulations.
• Puts safety first and respects all road users.
• Diligent in driver and vehicle checks.
• Forward planning for safety restrictions, road works and traffic.

We are recruitingfor Class 1 LGV C+E Tanker Drivers at our Amesbury within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

As an Inbound Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to different sites within the network (including loading and reloading)

• Contract– Full Time / Permanent
• Location - Amesbury, Solstice Park (SP4 7SZ)
• Shift Pattern –
• 5 over 7 (Nights 5pm start) Thursday to Monday
• 4 on 4 off (Nigths 5pm - 5am)
• Rate of Pay – £17.30 per hour - £28.42 per hour dependent on shift pattern.

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.
• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
