Job summary

Müller is recruiting for Class 1 LGV C+E Tanker Drivers to join our Amesbury site. Inbound Driver role involves transporting milk between sites with loading/reloading within the network.

We offer full-time permanent contracts, 5 over 7 or 4 on 4 off shift patterns, and a competitive hourly rate with benefits including life assurance and pension.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) required.
• Current CPC and digital driving card.
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence.
• Comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• Effective team member with initiative.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety and transportation regulations.
• Put safety first and respect all road users.
• Complete driver and vehicle checks correctly.
• Plan routes considering safety restrictions and road works.
• Be professional in interactions with customers.

Location: Amesbury, ENG, GB, SP4 7SZ

We are recruitingfor Class 1 LGV C+E Tanker Drivers at our Amesbury within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

As an Inbound Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to different sites within the network (including loading and reloading)

• Contract– Full Time / Permanent
• Location - Amesbury, Solstice Park (SP4 7SZ)
• Shift Pattern –
• 5 over 7 (Nights 5pm start) Thursday to Monday
• 4 on 4 off (Nigths 5pm - 5am)
• Rate of Pay – £17.30 per hour - £28.42 per hour dependent on shift pattern.

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.
• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
