Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV 2 Driver for the Ipswich Depot on an AM shift. You will drive LGV vehicles (front and back loaders) to collect bins, supporting trade waste customers in a 45-hour week with overtime and potential bonuses. Start times 04:00/06:00 at Ipswich.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence
• Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures

Responsibilities

LGV 2 Driver - AM Shift

Location: Ipswich Depot
Days of work: Monday - Friday, 45hr contracted week, plus the opportunity for overtime and to earn bonus.
Start times: 04.00/06:00

Pay: £16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
