Job summary

Biffa Group is looking for an LGV Driver on the AM shift, Monday to Friday, starting at 04.00. You will operate LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from our trade waste customers, working outdoors and using your own initiative to make a difference in the local environment and communities.

This role offers the chance to contribute to a well-known UK waste management company with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and service quality.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Operate with initiative outdoors and contribute to keeping local environments clean.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects to the fleet team.

LGV Driver AM Shift

Start Time: 04.00
Hourly rate - £16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
