Job summary

Biffa Group is hiring an LGV Driver for AM shift in the United Kingdom. You will drive LGV vehicles, collect and empty bins from trade waste customers, and work outdoors with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role starts early, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday work. Training is provided, and benefits include discounts, PPE, and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Full LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and driver regulations.
• Previous HGV driving experience desirable.
• Confident driving and manoeuvring a large rigid vehicle.
• Able to carry out daily vehicle safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins for trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors, use initiative and contribute to improving local environments.

Job description

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT

Monday - Friday 45 hours per week

Pay rate: £16.87p/h

Start Time: 04.30-06.00 (potential Saturday work, PM cover when needed)

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
