Job summary

Biffa Group is hiring an LGV Driver for the PM shift in London, starting at 14:00, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week. Drive LGV vehicles and collect/empty bins from trade waste customers, working as part of a single-person crew.

This role offers a pay rate of £19.46 per hour plus a back shift allowance, and the chance to contribute to local environmental outcomes while enjoying in-house training and employee discounts with Biffa Perkz.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV licence (Class 2) and Driver CPC.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins for trade waste customers.

Requirements

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
