Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift, Monday to Friday with overtime available. Start time is 04:00 and you will operate LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins from our trade waste customers.

You'll enjoy working outdoors, using your own initiative and making a tangible difference to local environments and communities. Training is provided in-house, with access to Biffa Perkz discounts and family-friendly policies.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• A good level of health and safety awareness, with the ability to follow procedures.
• A flexible and reliable approach to work, with good timekeeping.
• The ability to carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• A commitment to safe and responsible driving.
• Previous LGV Class 2 driving experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors using your own initiative and contribute to keeping local environments clean.
• Assist with vehicle safety checks and report defects as required.

£16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
