Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the Burgess Hill Depot on an AM shift. You will drive LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, starting at 04:00, with occasional Saturday overtime. This outdoor position emphasizes initiative, safety, and delivering reliable waste collection services that support local communities and the environment.

Qualifications

• Full, valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors using your own initiative and drive in varied environments.
• Support the local environment and communities through responsible waste collection.

LGV Driver - AM Shift

Location: Burgess Hill Depot
Days of work: Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
Start Time: 04.00am
Hourly Rate: £16.87 (Occasional Saturday overtime)

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
