Job summary

LGV 2 Driver role based across Burgess Hill and Ford. You'll drive waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders, and operate within a 45 hour contract across any 5 days in 7.

This outdoor, assessable role suits those who can use initiative, lead teams, and take pride in keeping communities clean. Training is provided and you’ll join a supportive, diverse team environment.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence is required.
• Knowledge of digital tachograph.
• Driver CPC would be an advantage.
• Conscientious, reliable and resilient.
• Flexible and works well in a team.
• Passionate about providing a great service.
• Physically fit and robust.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles and collect/empty bins, boxes and bags from householders.
• Work as part of a crew and lead on-site when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and route plans.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic fault reporting.
• Report daily to supervisor and ensure timely collections.

Location: Based across two site - Burgess Hill and Ford

Shift pattern: 45 Hour contract - Any 5 days over 7

Pay: £16.08p/h

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders.
