Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV 2 Driver for the AM shift in the UK. The role involves operating LGV vehicles (front and back loaders) to collect and empty bins at trade waste customers, working outdoors with initiative.

This position offers on-the-job training, access to Biffa Perkz discounts, and family-friendly policies. You will join a trusted national waste services provider with a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport legislation.
• Strong health and safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and flexible with good timekeeping.
• Ability to carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Commitment to safe and responsible driving.
• Desirable: previous LGV Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins.

LGV 2 Driver - AM Shift

Monday to Friday

Start Time: 05.00

Pay: £16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.

Requirements
