Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV 2 Driver for sites across Burgess Hill and Ford. The role involves operating waste collection vehicles and collecting household waste, on a 45-hour contract with 5 days over 7.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, physically fit and reliable, with a Class 2 licence and tachograph knowledge. Training is provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience driving LGV vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors and as part of a crew.
• Willingness to lead teams and adapt to shifts (5 days in 7).

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles and collect bins, boxes and bags from households.
• Work as part of a crew and support colleagues on site.
• Maintain a safe and efficient collection routine.

Shift pattern: 45 Hour contract - Any 5 days over 7

Pay: £16.08p/h

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders.
