Job summary

Aspire People Limited is assisting a friendly North London primary school to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, term-time contract starting September 2026. You will support pupils' learning, wellbeing and independence, both in class and in small-group interventions.

With a Level 3 TA qualification and a solid grasp of the primary curriculum, you will collaborate with teachers, build positive relationships with children and parents, and help create a safe, inclusive learning

Qualifications

  • Has a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting.
  • Good understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Confident supporting phonics, reading, writing and maths.
  • Patient, caring and enthusiastic.
  • Can build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
  • Can work independently while also being an effective member of a team.
  • Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Committed to helping every child reach their potential.

Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher with daily teaching and learning activities.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Primary School
Location: North London
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Start Date: September 2026

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive primary school in North London.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing. You will provide support both within the classroom and through small-group and individual interventions.
