Job summary

Reed's partner primary school in Bexley is seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join from September 2026 on a full-time, term-time only contract. Based in Slade Green, the role will support class teachers, deliver targeted interventions and help pupils achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.

You'll work with individuals and groups, create engaging activities, monitor progress and contribute to safeguarding with DBS checks.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Have previous experience working within a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children's development.
  • Have a positive and proactive approach to learning and behaviour support.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Are you a passionate and committed Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a welcoming and ambitious primary school?

We are working with a highly regarded primary school in the Bexley area seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to help deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide targeted interventions, and support pupils both academically and socially.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
