Job summary

Avanti Schools Trust is seeking a first line IT support apprentice based across Bishop's Stortford schools, delivering day-to-day IT support to staff and students while completing a structured training programme with Leep Talent.

You will set up devices, log tickets, support project rollouts, and travel between sites as required. The role emphasises customer service, initiative and a genuine interest in technology within a Hindu-inspired education trust.

Qualifications

• Essential - GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Self-motivation and proactive attitude are required.
• You will be working across multiple school sites and must be able to manage notes and tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT queries across allocated schools.
• Set up and configure devices following Trust standards.
• Keep tickets up to date with clear notes and outcomes.
• Maintain a running job list to avoid unresolved tasks.
• Log assets and update records in the IT asset management system.
• Support project rollouts and wider IT tasks as directed.
• Travel between Bishop's Stortford schools and AST hubs as needed.
