Job summary

The King John School in Essex is seeking an IT Apprentice to join our dedicated team. This fixed-term, 2‑year role is part‑time (37 hours per week) with an hourly rate at National Minimum Wage, and visa sponsorship is not available.

You will support users and help maintain school IT systems. You will work under supervision, gain hands-on experience in IT support and equipment maintenance, and develop skills relevant to future IT careers within a school environment.

Job details

Working pattern: Part‑time – 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm; Friday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm)

Contract type: Fixed‑term – 2 years

Hourly rate: National Minimum Wage

Visa sponsorship: Visas cannot be sponsored
