Qualifications

• No prior IT experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are valued above all.
• Commitment to developing IT skills through a Level 3 IT Apprenticeship and on‑the‑job training.

Responsibilities

• Support the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of the school network.
• Assist with maintaining network servers, including software installation, OS management, fault diagnosis and backups.
• Help maintain network infrastructure, including switches, access points and routers.
• Provide friendly technical support and guidance to students and staff with logging in, email and applications.
• Help create and maintain help sheets, asset registers and technical documentation.
• Assist with the creation, maintenance and management of staff and student user accounts.
• Keep computer rooms tidy and ensure equipment is maintained in line with health and safety requirements.
