Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a qualified Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Harpurhey/Blackley area of North Manchester. You will support children in Nursery settings, assist early learning through play and small-group activities, and act as a key person for a group of children.

The right candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification, have EYFS experience, paediatric first aid, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Level 3 Early Years, Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification.
• Previous professional experience within Nursery or EYFS.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Confident supporting play-based learning.
• Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification.
• Reliable and committed to working within a school environment.

Aspire People are recruiting a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming primary school in the Harpurhey / Blackley area of North Manchester.

The school is looking for someone with strong Nursery or Early Years experience who can provide nurturing support while helping children develop their communication, confidence and early learning skills.

• Supporting children within a Nursery / Early Years environment
• Supporting learning through play and structured activities
• Leading small-group activities and targeted learning sessions

Working Hours:

37.5 hours per week with an early start due to the school's breakfast-club provision.

There is some flexibility around working hours across the week, with occasional later finishes and an earlier Friday finish.

The Opportunity:

This is a long-term opportunity for a Level 3 practitioner who wants to establish themselves within a supportive Early Years environment.
