Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a North Manchester Nursery setting. You will support learning through play, aid early development, and help children communicate and build confidence.

The role is full-time and long-term, offering 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility around start/finish times and potential breakfast-club duties.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Early Years/TA qualification.
• Nursery or EYFS experience is required.
• Paediatric First Aid certification preferred.

Harpurhey / Blackley Area, North Manchester | Full-Time | Long-Term | Aspire People

Aspire People are recruiting a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming primary school in the Harpurhey / Blackley area of North Manchester.

The school is looking for someone with strong Nursery or Early Years experience who can provide nurturing support while helping children develop their communication, confidence and early learning skills.

The Role:

• Supporting children within a Nursery / Early Years environment
• Supporting learning through play and structured activities
• Leading small-group activities and targeted learning sessions
• Supporting communication, language and early development
• Encouraging children's confidence, independence and social skills
• Acting as a key person for a group of children
• Supporting daily routines, transitions and classroom organisation
• Observing and supporting children's individual development
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
• Helping create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a recognised Level 3 Early Years, Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
• Previous professional experience within Nursery or EYFS
• Strong understanding of early childhood development
• Confident supporting play-based learning
• Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification
• Reliable and committed to working within a school environment

Working Hours:

37.5 hours per week with an early start due to the school's breakfast-club provision.

There is some flexibility around working hours across the week, with occasional later finishes and an earlier Friday finish.

The Opportunity:

This is a long-term opportunity for a Level 3 practitioner who wants to establish themselves within a supportive Early Years environment.
