Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant - Early Development

North Manchester | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity | Aspire People

Aspire People are working with a primary school in the Harpurhey / Blackley area of North Manchester who are looking for a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support children within their Early Years provision.

This role would suit an experienced EYFS practitioner who understands the importance of creating strong foundations in communication, social development and early learning.

The Role

• Supporting children across the EYFS environment
• Delivering engaging play-based learning activities
• Supporting early communication, language and phonics
• Helping develop early numeracy and problem-solving skills
• Leading activities with small groups of children
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
• Encouraging independence and positive relationships
• Observing children's development and feeding back to teaching staff
• Supporting individual learning and development needs
• Helping maintain an organised and stimulating classroom
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff

The Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Teaching Assistant or Supporting Teaching and Learning
• Recent experience working within an EYFS or Nursery setting
• Good knowledge of child development
• Understanding of the EYFS framework
• Confident leading activities with young children
• Nurturing, patient and consistent approach
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Paediatric First Aid
• Able to commit to a full-time school-based role

The Working Pattern

The role is 37.5 hours per week and includes an early 8:00am start as part of the school's breakfast-club provision.

Some days involve a later finish, with an earlier finish on Friday.

The Opportunity
