Job summary

The Lantern Community Primary School in Ely is seeking a Level Two Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will work closely with our SENDCo and class teachers to provide high quality support for pupils who may have additional needs, delivering targeted interventions and supporting inside and outside the classroom.

The role is term-time only, with 32.5 hours per week, and salary from £19,463 to £20,086.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths grade C or above
• Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to work towards it
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or behavioural needs
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Adaptable and resourceful; safeguarding awareness

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality support for pupils with additional needs
