Job summary

Wraysbury Primary School is seeking an amazing Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team in the Early Years setting. You will work with a specific child or small group, supporting learning and development while also assisting other children in the class.

Part of your hours will be spent supervising children at lunchtime. The successful candidate will have experience with SEND needs (ASD/ADHD) and ideally hold a Level 2 qualification, with a calm, caring approach and a readiness to contribute

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, Level 2 qualification preferred.
• Experience with SEND needs (ASD/ADHD) to support learning.
• Calm, caring, patient approach to children.
• Energetic, resilient, and able to work in a team.

Job description

We are looking for an amazing Teaching Assistant as an addition to our friendly team. The position will involve working with a specific child or group, as well as supporting other children in the class with their learning. Part of the hours will be supporting the children at lunchtime. The candidate should be calm and caring and able to make a dedicated contribution to sensitively supporting the needs of all our children. Training and experience of working with SEND children (ASD ADHD) is a requirement to ensure our children have the correct support to develop their learning and enable them to thrive. Initially the role will be within our Early Years team.

• Has had experience of working with children ideally with a Level 2 qualification
• Is dedicated and passionate about children’s learning and every child achieving their potential
