The Lantern Community Primary School in Ely is seeking a Level Two Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will work closely with our SENDCo and class teachers to provide high quality support for pupils who may have additional needs, delivering targeted interventions and supporting inside and outside the classroom.
The role is term-time only, with 32.5 hours per week, and salary from £19,463 to £20,086.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level Two Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team at The Lantern Primary School in Ely. As a Level Two Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our SENDCo team and class teachers to provide high quality support for pupils who may have a range of additional needs. You will enjoy making a valuable difference to learning and progress, delivering targeted interventions and supporting inside and outside of the classroom. The successful candidate will have the ability to adapt teaching resources to meet individual pupil abilities and be fun, creative and innovative in approach to enable our pupils to achieve their full potential. You will be responsible to the Headteacher.

Will possess GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above
Will possess a Teaching Assistant qualification or show a willingness to work towards this
Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and/or behavioural needs
Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
Can be adaptable and resourceful
An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
